ATTENTION NEIGHBORS!

Bernalwood has been informed that there’s a special sneak peek opening party at the brand-new Barebottle Brewing Company happening TONIGHT, Wednesday June 15 from 4-6 pm at 1525 Cortland (@Peralta).

Michael Seitz from Barebottle says:

Howdy Neighbors!

We’ve been working on renovating the old granite cutting warehouse, which needed a lot of TLC, into a production brewery and tasting room. We (Mike, Lester, & Ben) started out as homebrewers & certified beer judges, and our specialty is making beers inspired by local places & ingredients and using a competitive process to brew the best beers.

We’ll have a Bernal Saison free fermented at Bernal Heights temperatures, a Muir Woods-inspired IPA, a Honey Brown using 120-lbs of our head brewer’s wildflower honey (he’s also a local beekeeper), and many more.

Please stop by for a pint tonight! (We’re also hiring bartenders!)

    • Hi Sheila – we’re opening to the public officially on Friday! We’re going to have a Grand Opening Party in mid-July, but we’ll be open weekly on Wednesdays-Sunday starting next week. Thanks for the question!

  1. Stoked! Instead of driving by and honking when I see the door up, now I will stop! Cheers, and best of luck Barebottle

  2. Have just returned home from the establishment. What an awesome space! And the beer was very tasty. So so happy this is open for business.

  3. Great place and awesome beer with nice to-go options. Bernal Heights ratchets up another level with this addition to the neighborhood. Welcome Barebottle! The wife and I went last night with our 2 & 4 yro, and there might have been another 6-8 there, dare I say very kid friendly?

  4. Do they have food/snacks? I assume so license-wise being kid-friendly, but not seeing anything on the site.

  5. Went to the benefit for the Mission fire victims at Barebottle this past Sunday. I am not a beer aficionado but this place is great! Everyone is super friendly, the place is dog- and kid-friendly, and I saw a few people I knew. I talked to one of the founders, Michael Seitz, who is totally menschy and has wonderful plans to make the space a real community hub. The space is light and airy and very welcoming. What a great addition to the neighborhood. I wish them all the best success!!
