Neighbor Sharon reports that she was very nearly licked by a strange tree snake on Bennington near Cortland. Born of neckties, apparently, the creature appears freakish, but conspicuously friendly.

Call Animal Care and Control!
Does anyone know what’s up with the military helicopters that have been going back and forth?
marmots, oversized teddy bears chilling on terraces, tree snakes, Red Admiral and/or Painted Lady butterflies… I can’t wait to see the next interesting creature to call Bernal’s unique ecosystem home.
This snake has been panhandling for some time now. His shtick is that he needs the money, because he is so poor he doesn’t have a pot to hiss in!
