Hopefully you brushed your sidewalks and flossed your expansion joints recently, because several neighbors spotted the Google Street View car in Bernal Heights over the weekend, presumably to update our visual data to reflect our look in late 2013.
Fortunately, Neighbor Mark did his part to ensure we present a clean, well-groomed appearance to cyber-tourists and future historians:

I’ve seen the car around for more than a week now. Perhaps the person driving lives in the hood?
Do you know the date of the annual Cortland Holiday Stroll in Dec? Please post so we can all save the date for a very fun evening. Thanks, Kathy Kaiser

I keep checking my street to see if it has been updated yet. I believe my dog and I were captured for the historical record unless, as Mark speculates above, the driver just lives in Bernal Heights and wasn’t actually recording.
I see the car with the camera completely covered usually, only once have I seen it uncovered, and that was when it was parked in the Safeway parking lot at 30th/Mission.
The picture of our block looks to be a couple of years old. When is Google going to real-time monitoring?
Google already does real time monitoring, it’s called the NSA. Hiyo!
