Neighbor Esther noticed this abandoned chair on Andover Street over the weekend. The chair is not likely to win design awards anytime soon, but it possesses great poise and an exceptional level of enlightenment regarding its own fate:

If it doesn’t wobble, a bit of sanding, re-staining and re-apolstering might entice someone to constrain this chair’s freedom.
I think that’s a work of art. Someone, take some art photos of it, and make it available as a poster.
(And if it does wobble, a little wood glue would probably fix its wavering tendencies.)
That chair is so free, it’s been there for 3 days and shows no sign of succumbing to ownership.
