Welcome to Bernalwood, Baby Juniper Arwen Anemone Sagan Donner Hermes Ximm!!

Happy News! Bernalwood Contributor Bronwyn Ximm gave birth to a brand new baby girl last week, and we’re thrilled to welcome another human life form to the neighborhood. So exciting! So full of potential!

In addition, after several days of Naming Committee consultation, Bronwyn and husband Aaron settled upon a designation for their daughter. Bronwyn explains:

The name, birth certificate edition: Juniper Arwen Anemone Sagan Donner Hermes Ximm

The name, practical edition: Juniper Arwen Ximm

Mother and newborn are thriving, and big sister Ember Rowan Kestrel Jetson Barcelona Owlsley Ximm is pleased to share the namespace:

Congratulations to the Ximms, from all of us at Bernalwood!

  1. Usually I am not into creative baby names, but I am loving those. I also think having only three names is totally boring.

  2. Woo hoo for the mini baby boom in Bernal… we’ve got a three month old, Luca, with only three names: Luca Adel Rigby.

  3. My firstborn’s name is Olive Vivienne Marcheline *lastname* and her sister is Lily Anne Marie Armand Therese Foisie *lastname*

    Of course, they are both dogs….

  4. We only went with 3 plus the last name and even that was hard on the birth certificate…how in the heck did they fit all that on there? I’d also love to know what each name is for. Seems there’s some sci fi fans in there.

  5. Kerry,

    Juniper to be evergreen, fragrant, tough in the desert, striving;
    Arwen for the portmanteau of her parent’s names, and the Evenstar (natch);
    Anemone for the wind-flower and the sea;
    Sagan for Carl (a still more glorious dawn awaits!);
    Donner, for where she got her start…;
    Hermes, for my wife’s dance-guru, with a nod to Trismegistus…
    Ximm, our legal last name, is our wedding date (Roman numerals).

    🙂
